Distribution and Habitat

Found in the western Pacific around Indonesia and the Philippines, inhabiting shallow reef slopes and patch reefs with dense coral growth.

Physical Description

Features yellow flanks with a pink and orange body, accented by radiant blue margins on the dorsal and tail fins.

Diet and Feeding

Carnivorous, feeds on zooplankton in open water, readily accepting frozen mysis, cyclops, and enriched brine shrimp in captivity.

Behavior and Reproduction

Plankton pickers that are peaceful toward other fish and are energetic jumpers requiring a tightly fitted aquarium lid.

Aquarium Care

Requires 30+ gallons with a tight lid. It is reef-safe, peaceful, and thrives in community reef aquariums.
