Physical Description

Blue-grey body with a crosshatch pattern of dark lines, males have a yellow throat, grows to 29 cm.

Diet and Feeding

Carnivorous, feeds on zooplankton and small crustaceans.

Behavior and Reproduction

Pelagic spawner, active swimmer, one of the more peaceful triggerfish.

Aquarium Care

Requires 100+ gallons, semi-aggressive, may be kept with other fish.
