Distribution and Habitat

Physical Description

Small hermit crab with bright blue legs with red bands, reaches about 2.5 cm.

Diet and Feeding

Omnivorous scavenger, feeds on algae, detritus and uneaten food, excellent cleanup crew.

Behavior and Reproduction

Peaceful and active, can be kept in large groups, will change shells as it grows.

Aquarium Care

Requires 10+ gallons with live rock and empty shells, reef-safe, one of the best algae eaters for reef tanks.
